Our focus is more than color...we strive to have horses that are good halter, pleasure and all arounders with disposition a must and color a plus!
We are located in Perry, Iowa on 5 acres. We have a 60 x 60 indoor arena, and a 5 stall barn. All horses are handled daily (stalled at night and turned out during the day), current on farrier, vet and worming. We try very hard to ensure our horses are a perfect fit for new buyer...that is the most important thing to us!
With the current horse market in the condition it is, we have chosen not to breed our mares and enjoy our riders. So we have a couple coming two year old fillies offered for sale. Check them out on our "Mares" page. We have a few friend's horses listed for sale on our "Sale Page" as well. My future vision is to share my love for horses and wildlife and you can see samples of my artwork on the "Art by Kathy" page.
Feel free to contact us anytime, we would love to hear from you! Visitors are always welcome (with a little notice of course).
" ...But first there will be another animal you must learn to use. It has a shaggy neck and a tail almost touching the ground. Its hooves are round. This animal will carry you on his back and help you in many ways. Those far hills that seem only a blue vision in the distance take many days to reach now, but with this animal you can get there in a short time, so fear him not."
Sweet Medicine - Cultural Hero of the Cheyenne
I have been collecting pictures of leading sires (and some great mares), mostly Paints and Quarter horses and a few Thoroughbreds. Many of us, when building our pedigrees online for our horses, like to have photos of the reference sires. If you are looking for a particular stallion, I would be glad to send you a picture if I have one!
